My biggest project yet

I got a little work done on the markings including my first attempt at weathering. One of my pens burst as I was drawing (red circle) but I was able to dab up the excess and somewhat recover.

Nice job, couldn’t even tell what was wrong without the red circle

I purchased a 737 from squatchys on Labor Day weekend but I still haven’t heard anything from him. Is this normal?

This is looking great! Ground markings can bring such a nice realism to any layout.
Please don't forget to add details to your terminal building aswell :)
Yeah fs. It was frustrating so I took a break for the ground markings but I’ll prob go back to the terminal in a few days. Still waiting on the 737 to continue the nb gates

I just had it there for scale, that gate will only be atrs and such prop aircraft. I also made sure there was enough space for them to back up so it should be fine.

It’s been a while since i’ve posted on this thread and a lot has changed. For starters, i decided the terminal was too complicated to design and so i flipped over the board and started over. I was unusually focused the past few days and got the whole apron done. For some reason the taxiways turned out blue so i’ll be making a trip to hobby lobby for some paint and balsa wood for the terminal ( i'm unsure if it’ll be temporary or permanent, that depends on if i’m able to design a better one on cad that i can 3d print) so more progress pics will come soon.

I had built it out of balsa wood as a temporary terminal and was designing a printable one but i just couldn’t get the dimensions correct. I was also a little unhappy with the layout of the gates.

You're doing a fantastic job! The apron lines look really great!

Is this 1:200? I could get you a file for a terminal I’m designing that would work, I would need to change a few things if you want it to be jetways and not doors for walking or airstairs though.
