I am in no way a supporter of Russia (or the Soviet Union) and my Russian collecting ends at 2010 but I am a student of history and it is hard to ignore the Soviet flag carrier, especially as they operated a diverse array of awesome aircraft types. Despite the war Aeroflot and Soviet-era aircraft have had a real renaissance in 400 scale so my Aeroflot fleet has grown well. The result was the need for another rearrangement to free up some space, which gave me the opportunity to take a closer look at my current Aeroflot collection, which now numbers 38 models:
