What's that? You didn't get enough Fokkerage last week? Well here's some more as I update the F28 mould review with new photos and text.

Aeroclassics made 7 variants of Ansett F28s in 2014 with different titles and liveries. I've got 5 in my collection.

An interesting revue. I too am grateful for the Australian F28-1000's released by AC. The one I would desperately love to have is Ansett Airlines of NSW VH-FKD. I flew in this aeroplane from Dubbo to Sydney on the inaugural service in 1970. I flew back the following morning. The jet stayed with Ansett for years in a variety of liveries 485210_1748652232.jpgliveries

That Ansett N.T. Fokker 28 was, I believe, the only aircraft in the fleet to wear the Ansett N.T. livery, the others that operated for Ansett N.T. wore the Ansett W.A. livery.

The week has almost concluded, but there's still time for some last F28s. A couple of recent Fellowships have joined my collection. First is PK-GFU a festive hangar club model from 2007. This aircraft was one of an astonishing 59 F28s flown by Garuda. Delivered new on May 30, 1978 it was leased to Merpati Nusantara in 1989 and sadly written off when it crashed into the sea on approach to Sorong in July 1993 killing 41 of the 43 onboard.
