If you thought a B1900D was small in 400 scale 3D Design Deck have something even smaller in their line of F/A-18s and F-35s. It's a little unfair to review such a small model in the usual manner, but also a testament to 3D Design Deck that it can stand up to that level of scrutiny.

This photo really illustrates why my brain doesn’t like the design of these F18s quite yet. I’d recommend redoing the shaping of the engine area and moving the nose gear farther back like you mentioned as well. Other than that it really truly gets too tiny to care.

It’s truly awesome to see how tiny these things are. I knew they would be but wow, just mind blowing. I hope to see some F16s or F15s in the future as building a whole squadron would be super fun for a few out there!

Richard, thank you so much for this review of the 3DDD F-18! I really appreciated that you gave it the same treatment as the passenger planes of the scale as it was interesting to see your review, though given the scale involved none of the “flaws” bother me.

To 3DDD, bravo! Can’t wait to see more fighter jets in the scale.
