Model Review - AirBridgeCargo Il-96-400T by Phoenix

It's great to see Phoenix taking the chance on the stretched Il-96-400 and already it seems to be paying off, as not only is the mould excellent but sales seem to have been good enough to convince Phoenix to announce half of the possible models that can be made in the last 3 months! With the first pair arriving at the hangar last week here I take a look at the freighter version:

Increasingly, there aren't a lot of new moulds that can be made in 400 scale that haven't been made before, or at least there aren't many that manufacturers will take the chance on. Pleasingly, Phoenix already had an Il-96-300 and they were convinced that

It's nearly a year since I first came up the IL-96-400 idea with Phoenix. It is a dream come true seeing the type in 1:400 scale!!
The Atlant Soyuz will have some updates with the detail printing: landing lights, main landing gear doors, radome...

The first two releases should be arriving soon - and I've pre-orders for all the rest lol. I'm going to grab most of the liveries

It was difficult to choose one livery as my budget does not allow for more IL-96's, but I'm glad I pre-ordered exactly the one with updated details
