Model Review - Aeroflot Ilyushin Il-62 by Phoenix Models

It is pleasing to see Phoenix create new moulds for the Il-62, and the first for the original version in the scale, rather than the endless stream of Boeings and Airbuses we usually get. Even when other brands do make other moulds they tend to be poorly used, but I think Phoenix can be trusted to produce a good sample of 62s and given the quality of this first release I really hope they do so.

Beautiful model! These new moulds are a wonderful surprise by Phoenix. I'd love to see TAAG, LAM and some Government jets such as Ukraine. CSA would also be a great release. I currently only own one IL-62, the Cubana in old colors, a nice Gemini release.

Great review of a fabulous release!
Definitely a MOTY contender, along with any of the forthcoming il-62s that may either upstage it, or give it company.

And will patiently await the arrival of my copy of this one
