Disregard. I see now you said 2025. I though there was still hope to call an NG classic 747 model of the year this year.

I would like to nominate the UAC Il-96-400M RA-96115 from Phoenix. The new mould is very nice and a niche subject that I never expected to be made in this scale. A testament to Phoenix and their newfound adventurism in release choices.



In terms of purchase of the year, it would have to go to the two NG L-1011's I purchased this year, the Cathay Pacific L-1011-1 VR-HHK and the Saudia L-1011-200 HZ-AHJ. NG L-1011's are always great models and the ones I was the most excited for, to the point I wrote a review for the Saudia L-1011-200.


I am looking towards 2025, it seems to be the year we will see classic 747's roll out. Personally I was told to expect something interesting (for me anyways) from a brand in Q1 2025 but I can't say much else besides that.

I'd completely forgotten about that LACSA A320. Looking at their store it doesn't seem they do international shipping? Does anyone know how I can get one or can anyone help?

might be in the minority but i feel like there wasn't really an "oh crap, i NEED to buy this model" this year as there was last year and prior to that. Maybe just the NG MD-80, but it feels weird considering there were a billion AA MD80s released before this year
