LegacyJets x FinalApproachCollectibles Future Release

I've a very different view on prices it seems.
If someone really delivers that "meticolously researched,... 100% accurate" model I'd well be prepared to pay those 20-30% extra - or more pending on subject - and would be in full support for such venture.
However LegacyJets has yet to show any prove whether all the self-laudation holds any truth. I wish them all the best but am full of doubts to be honest.

Wow. You guys are seriously whining about $55 for a 1:400 regional? That’s literally what these models cost today. If that shocks you, you haven’t bought anything in this hobby for the last decade. Plus, they’re including a stand and a collector’s card which I'm sure adds production costs.
And whoever this “Squatchys” retailer is, I find it pretty distasteful to be commenting on here and trying to hurt other retailer and manufactures.
Oh, and let’s not forget: Gemini just released a United ERJ-175 this past month for around $50 with no stand, no extras, and using an outdated mold. So if $55 for a modern release with added items bothers you, maybe the issue isn’t the price...
$55 is a lot of money for a piece of metal…

Your remark about me was inaccurate and drawn up to fit your narrative, and I simply corrected it.
My position stands, and as far as I’m concerned, this conversation with you is now finished
It is finished and do us all a favor and don't lecture about anyone's opinion, we are all entitled to our opinions, you included so before you badger someone on theirs look at yourself in the mirror

If it really is around 56USD for the ERJ's and 58USD for the A320/737 after the retailer discounts, that isn't that bad of a deal😭.

However in this hobby, we are all sticklers for quality and if these are all new moulds that capture the aircraft perfectly with quality printing, I can definitely see it being worth the price. NG Models came onto the model scene doing exactly that with their 757 and look how that propelled them to being one of the largest manufacturers in the scale. But right now, we don't know what these models look like and until we can see these models in person, or actual finished models, it is too soon to claim that these models are better than their Gemini Jets counterparts. Allow us to make our own opinions and see from there.

Everyone just needs to take a step back and be patient... We will all get to see them for ourselves and if they are on new tooling from HX/SQ I feel pretty good about the prospects of them being better than the current offerings. Mind you nothing will ever be perfect, so I think it be best we all just keep that in mind and keep the bar set at the Gemini standard.

Guys… reading all of this has honestly been disheartening. This hobby has always been a place of passion, nostalgia, and connection, not division. This isn’t what brought any of us into aviation, and it’s certainly not what keeps us here.

From day one, our mission has been simple:
Bring something positive, exciting, and fresh to this community.
No politics. No drama. Just beautiful models made by people who genuinely love aviation as much as you do.
We pour our hearts into these releases. Every detail, every color, every line, we aim to build models that we, as professional pilots, would proudly put on our own shelves. This hobby deserves that level of respect and care.

So let’s take a breath, step back, and enjoy this moment together.
New models. New energy. A chance to make the hobby better than we found it.
Thank you to everyone who supports with passion, kindness, and love for aviation.
We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re building this journey with you, not against you.
With sincere love,
LJ

Yes everyone needs to calm down the post towards the new GJ arrival wasn't needed at all IMO. It's just metal cylinders with highly detailed designs of a plane after all.

Can I preorder the AA 175 at MTS?
The 175s are exclusive to us at FAC and currently we’re the only retailer offering pre-orders on the AirTran and Avelo as well. It’s slightly less than $55 after the discount and that includes the stand and card plus we also always offer free shipping. We truly appreciate you wanting to help support our small family business!

I wrote this a few pages back in response to someone but I wanted to put this here again because it’s truly how I feel about the model hobby in general and our place in it. I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

I’ve personally been a collector for many years before opening our small family business being Final Approach Collectibles. I believe with my heart and soul everyone will not only enjoy these models but will see the hard work that’s gone into every detail. Either way, whether you purchase any of these new models or not. I just want to say I appreciate all of you for taking the time to look at the artwork, comment on the models and help support our small business. We’re always here to answer questions and help further our small community we have here in the diecast aviation model collecting field.

Sounds great.
You may know me as a nitpicker and I'm afraid you guys raise the bar higher than you can fly, potentially risking a hard landing.
I fully support your intentions, but I'd let the product speak.
