LegacyJets x FinalApproachCollectibles Future Release

They are available at Final Approach Collectibles. They are around $55 or so per model but that also includes free shipping that we always offer and each model comes with a stand as well.
I don't see them up on the site yet. Is there a discount coupon for purchases from the store? If so, I am tempted to pick up one of the ERJ-175s.

I will wait to see pictures of the ERJ before ordering. The fact that is made in the same facility as HX has me a little concerned that the tooling will closely resemble JC/GJs ERJ, which would not be a good thing. But if Legacy is developing a new model entirely, it could be awesome. Both the UA and AA are of huge interest to me, but I will wait for release pictures before pulling the trigger.

Also curious to see the final result of the A320. I really like the airlines chosen for the initial release. I will be a happy customer if the toolings are accurate, and not JC clones. The recent HX Korean 737 is almost identical to the JC tooling in all of the wrong ways, so I am hoping the 737-700 does not follow this same trajectory...

Wow. You guys are seriously whining about $55 for a 1:400 regional? That’s literally what these models cost today. If that shocks you, you haven’t bought anything in this hobby for the last decade. Plus, they’re including a stand and a collector’s card which I'm sure adds production costs.
And whoever this “Squatchys” retailer is, I find it pretty distasteful to be commenting on here and trying to hurt other retailer and manufactures.
Oh, and let’s not forget: Gemini just released a United ERJ-175 this past month for around $50 with no stand, no extras, and using an outdated mold. So if $55 for a modern release with added items bothers you, maybe the issue isn’t the price...

Legacy Jets has created a completely brand new mould for the 175s and releases. They also are ensuring the details are 100% accurate and have spent months working on these to appeal to all of us collectors.

I’ve personally been a collector for many years before opening our small family business being Final Approach Collectibles. I believe with my heart and soul everyone will not only enjoy these models but will see the hard work that’s gone into every detail. Either way, whether you purchase any or not. I just want to say I appreciate all of you for taking the time to look at the artwork, comment on the models and help support our small business. We’re always here to answer questions and help further our small community we have here in the diecast aviation model collecting field.

I have a few points to speak about related to this.

1. The GJ is usually 49$ USD. These are way above that.
2. Anyone can put a stand or collector card in a model, JC does this with the cards, and they are the same price, if not, less than GJ.
3. Squatchys is right, the pricing is way too high for an RJ… and not only that, it wasn’t “Hurting other manufacturers and retailers” It was a comment on pricing being high.

Distasteful?? You are self promoting your brand, and we have done nothing to hurt any retailer or manufacturer. Why can't a retailer have an opinion? Is that not allowed as a retailer and collector?? So who are you to tell me what opinion I can have or not?? I have said nothing about a retailer nor the product which nobody has even seen. What I have said is the price is steep for the market, which is my professional opinion. When approached by Legacy to be that retailer for their exclusive model that Final Approach has picked up, that was my first and biggest concern, price, and wholesale cost to the retailer. I say good luck to Brandon, we prefer to work on a higher margin that was offered, which wasn't much to begin with. If that changed in the months that preceeded our conversation, great. But for us the pricepoint to market wasn't feasible and sustainable. So to tell me that my opinion doesn't count is distasteful. And I'm sure you very well know who this "Squatchy" retailer is.

Gemini Jets released the United Express Embraer 175 in September 2025. Prices slightly vary across all retailers, but for simplicity sake I’ll average it out to $49. The MSRP, for reference, is $60.95.

Legacy Jets’ rendition from Final Approach Collectibles is $62. That’s a dollar more than GJ’s MSRP. With the 10% discount automatically applied, that brings it down to $55. You’re still paying $6 more for the LJ rendition than the GJ. Now, you can make the argument that paying $6 more for this is worth it, but for me this isn’t it. Furthermore we’ve yet to see photos of the finished product which are a few weeks out. While chances are good this model turn out great, possibly better than GJ’s rendition, $55 for a regional jet is still exacerbating, so IMO the complaints are justified.

Admittedly my perspective partially comes from the fact that I have one already (the first release from nearly six years ago), but it’s already excruciating how expensive models are getting these days, so seeing 1:400 regional jets that are no more than a couple inches long being close to or over $50 is already ridiculous enough in my books.

Let me put my own two cents into the matter of this release.

Is it overpriced? Yes. A regional jet should not be 55 dollars.
Is it a good choice for releases? Definitely, if it were cheaper I would buy one of each.
Is the mould good? We do not know yet. We have not seen photos.

As a consumer and model enthusiast for the past year or so, I do not find this release worth it. Yes it comes with a stand, yes it comes with a card, but so do JC Wings releases, so do old Dragon Wings releases from twenty years ago. It is still more expensive than an RJ or even narrowbody ever should be.

I’ve kept my opinion on this set and thread as a whole pretty private, but I also want to mention how much argument has gone down on this thread, way too much. Can we not just peacefully talk about model airplanes, or make simple complaints on higher pricing? It’s pretty annoying when people take little complaints like this way too seriously

I agree with the pricing conversation - GJ/JC regionals should ideally be at an average of 36-40 USD (still)
Absolutely, we price our models at MAP, it's hard enough to compete with the online only stores who don't have overhead costs like the physical retailers. SO our margins are slim and don't have the luxury to give forever discounts and free shipping. SO we do our best to be right where everyone else is. A $60 regional is just super expensive and verging on a widebody price depending on brand.

I do think you have to take into consideration that larger manufacturers such as GJ/JC have much more resources & connections to corner the market on price points. It's not at all shocking that a small business and small model upstart aren't able to meet GJ at the same price point given that its highly likely their production and logistics costs inherently are much higher. Even if the price is high or not preferred (I do agree model prices are getting outrageous) These unfortunately are market conditions that exist for these companies to stay in business.

My friend a regional jet here in the UK is around £40-£50. I don't think they're really 'whining' they're just saying it's a bit high.

EDIT: I also only see one complaint about it. Might be really wrong there.

You just delivered an entire briefing based on a made-up scenario.
So let’s correct course. I don’t own Legacy Jets, never claimed to, and have zero involvement in their pricing or their business.
So before you lecture me about self-promotion, at least verify your information.
You targeted the wrong person, and that misidentification is the only thing here that’s actually distasteful.

It’s only me here voicing the concern, but I’ve spoken to other collectors who are also displeased with the pricing.

True, especially since GJ is the only one to have diecast RJ moulds in the hobby and use them as much as they do. If the product is truly top-of-the-line like the price point implies, I’ll forego some of my concerns.

Now this is funny…
Half of you are busy whining about legacy's pricing
and then I see this thread and see what you’re all happily dropping money on.
The irony could taxi its own airplane
