LegacyJets x FinalApproachCollectibles Future Release

With all due respect, look at the pricing of the GJ 737

, $66 for….just look at the quality… that’s why I buy from Legacy Jets, because their quality is unmatchable and you pay for what you get. Other companies you get ripped off and you also get a very low quality model. Just saying.

Could you please show us your Legacy Jets model in 1:400 you bought?
I'm asking because i'm unaware of models already released by this brand

Who are you buying from and paying $66 for? Narrowbody new releases we sell for right at $53.

Interesting to see the “new members” in this thread really hyping up Legacy, and no activity on other threads. Legacy have produced a handful of models utilizing SQ. None of their releases have been created on proprietary tooling.

Methinks there is a coordinated effort to get on these forums and dispel any concerns collectors have, and hype up this new brand.

If that’s the case (and I’m pretty confident I’m correct), then let’s see the final result.

Sn123 just earned employee of the month for Legacy Jets. This just screams “paid advertisement”

They haven’t released any 400 scale models, they sell other brands like SQ but not their own, which I’m told will be their molds anyways. So Legacy branded models will be SQ

We don't have yet. They are coming though in the next 1-2 months. The mold process for these took time, but we are at the production point finally

That's incorrect. Not sure where you get that from.. but we have invested in brand new molds of our own.
More than a few sources, would be industry suicide to have a completely new mold in a market that is already flooded with manufactures and common practice to borrow molds from others. That only lends to a very expensive model in the making if it’s truly a new mold and quite the gamble in an already flooded 400 scale market that’s fragile and overpriced.

Again, not sure who your "sources" are, but instead of saying things at random and unverified, you know how to reach me for a discussion.

Guys, seriously. Enough with the backandforth nonsense. The models haven’t even been released yet, and you are already throwing shade. It’s exhausting watching grown collectors act like kids.
Legacy Jets has already proven themselves with their past release. Quality, transparency and honesty. I’m not here to kiss up to anyone but facts are facts.
What I personally respect about Legacy Jets is that they actually engage with the community. They listen, they respond, and they care. Tell me when was the last time GJ, JC, or NG did that?

That’s the difference.

A couple of things, first we have yet to see a 1/400 Legacy Models release, so until then we really can't make any proper judgements how these new models will be quality wise compared to Gemini Jets, NG, or any of the other players in this market. Secondly, you have picked out a model from Gemini made on a 20+ year old mould, that is no fair comparison to what is being touted to us as all new moulds. NG and Panda both have superior moulds for the 737 family that retail at a lower price than $66USD. Lastly on the topic of retail prices, you clearly have cherrypicked the highest price you'll ever find Gemini selling their models, through their order fulfilment website, which has a history of selling models above their usual market price. Yankee Victor 400 for example, has the same model for $52USD, JetCollector has it for about $54USD, and even in Canada AvWorld has it for around $53USD.

We have yet to see what Legacy Models will create in the 1/400 scale, and time will tell if these new models and moulds are worth it, but it is too soon for us to come to any conclusion about them quality wise until we can see a finished retail copy of a model in hand.

This is MSRP not retail. It’s $52 retail.

No one is disputing that Legacy is communicating with the collectors. NG used to do this too in the beginning (2017-2019) before they stopped caring, and we saw some of the best 1:400 releases ever. To say that Legacy have proven themselves when I only see 2 releases to date on the MADb database, and releases utilizing SQ tooling, goes against that argument.

No offense, but your replies on this thread not only come across as kissing up, but also that you’re affiliated with the brand.

I agree with you again. It’s hard to have great things said about you when you’ve barely made a name for yourself, especially with big competition in a niche buisness.

I love how Gemini Jets keeps coming up in these discussions in a negative connotation 🤣

As much as they have their issues, picking out the MSRP price which is typically ~$10 more than the actual retail price to make a point, on a product that we haven’t even seen a single picture of yet, is amusing. I’m definitely a little more weary about LJ after reading this, so they need to “step their game up” (as one fellow collector once put it) and really make something that’s innovative and truly raising the bar. But seeing what we already have, that’s gonna be tough.
