Anyone has got a KLM from NG? I would like to know if the colors are correct, especially the blue which seems dark on NG pictures, or they have bad lighting. Their new SW colors appeared wrong on their official pictured but look better in Aviation 18 video. Same for LH 747-8 D-ABYM when I received the model and found the colors better than on their pictures, so this is why I am asking for KLM.

I have the 777-300ER from NG and the 787-10. Color wise I have the feeling that the 787 is a little more greenish blue and the 777 a tad darker blue. However the differences between models from NG and most manufacturers are small in terms of blue color differences. Most differences are only noticable in bright light conditions and even then it does not really bother me.

The only KLM manufacturer that I am careful with is Gemini Jets. They tend to use (very) light blue. The bigger the plane the better you notice compared to some KLM models from NG, Aviation400, etc. I regret buying their 747-400 freighter for example because of that.

Hope this helps.

May I ask you where you got this drawing from?
I know there are plenty of wild color guesses on the net looking like "official" info - which is rather misleading. KLM's belly certainly isn't the same color as titles, tail etc.

You are correct, did some more research and there is conflicting information. So I removed the picture from my post. Will send you a private message with the link :)
