Kylin Model New Releases

I'm unaware of any airline that has scimitar winglets on the 757-300 . Image 5 also looks like a -300 to me.

I would say that they are demonstrating the capability of having different wing configurations: non-wl, wl and scimitar wl as well as different engines. Afaik both 752 and 753 used identical wings (I might be wrong and please correct me if i do so). It would be much more reasonable when they have the scimitar paired with the 752 instead of 753. This is purely my own speculation and I really hope that they would do things correctly.

P/s: it seems that these models were rendered using Siemens NX to me, that UI is a bit familiar.

Kylin were just discussing these 757s with me 2 days ago and told me not to say anything - then they go and post about it straight after! Oh well. It's an interesting choice. Not really sure what they will do with them. I'd be surprised to see a lot of non-Chinese material and yet the 757-300 suggests they will do non-Chinese. Pretty much all Chinese 757s have been made already on the NG mould.

By the way wouldn't this sort of news be better served in its own thread? These giant threads per manufacturer we seem to have started make it a pain to use the forum to search for anything and hide away news like this. I can understand them being used for individual model releases but new mould news should get its own thread in my view.

It’s exciting to see a seemingly accurate CAD, but what will happen when they bring out the actual product? 🤔
