JJ to JFK: 2019 Plane Spotting

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to showcase some of my plane spotting from 2019. That year, I visited the iconic TWA Hotel on the premises of JFK Airport. One thing to note is that I’m no professional photographer and I only shoot video, so my photos may not be of high quality. I also created the thread just to showcase the changes around the aviation landscape in the three, almost four years since I made this trip, and a lot has changed!

First, here is a Cayman Airways Boeing 737-300! This aircraft rocketed out of JFK to go back to GCM. Quite fortunate that I got to see this as these were replaced by the MAXes. More photos to come later!

First, here is a Cayman Airways Boeing 737-300! This aircraft rocketed out of JFK to go back to GCM. Quite fortunate that I got to see this as these were replaced by the MAXes. More photos to come later!

Next set of photos:
1 - A Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 taxiing to its gate. Today, they now use the A350-900ULR on the SIN-JFK routing, so I was lucky to see the Superjumbo on this flight.
2 - An Evelop! Airbus A330-300 landing on 4R. The airline is now known as Iberojet, which took effect after a merger with Orbest in 2020.
3 - A jetBlue Airbus A320 Vets In Blue departing on 4L. This aircraft has received an updated livery within the last couple of months.

You may be right that. Unfortunately I don’t remember the routing this particular 380 was on when I saw it.

1 - A Magma Aviation Boeing 747-400BCF departing on 4L with a China Southern 777 in the foreground.
2 - A Korean Air Airbus A380 landing on 4L. KAL still uses the A380 along with a B77W on KE85 (the flight I saw was KE81 assuming things have remained unchanged since then).
3 - From my hotel room is this KLM Boeing 747-400. Unfortunately we no longer get to see these beautiful Queens, was fortunate to spot City of Vancouver taxiing in.
