JC still using old mould on new 747-400F release?

Saw their new posting on instagram, the wing joint has the old style ugly seam and looks like an old mould?

What is going on? Their CX and the Gemini's Polar have the proper looking seamless wing joint, which have the same design with their -8F or -400BDSF?

Since they made the Polar models for Gemini, why didn't they use the Polar's mould on the new KLM release?

As a side note, Johan might have hired a social content designer to work on the new release posting imagery, they look more fancy now, and some of them look kind of like with AI generated background

Yes the answer is they don't have a new mould for a non-interactive 747-400F. They just never bothered to make it.

The new look is just Sam arsing about with AI and it is quite annoying frankly. That is one of the less bad editions. Usually it's talking about how amazing the sub-standard models are
I've gotten sick and tired of his constant reliance on AI. Evidently he does not care to put his own time into the content, just like the brand itself doesn't care with its products.

Because JC Wings has now become the laziest and most irrelevant manufacturer in 400 scale.

101% agree. Basically their only truly interesting stuff is the regional and Soviet aircraft, and they still fail to properly pump out these.
I think we can still count in a single hand the number of An-26 releases. What a snoozefest!

My only sliver of hope for JC is that they’re starting to make older American / North American release material that Gemini has finally given permission for them to make i.e. this UAL 777-200. Albeit very slowly but that Air Canada Q400, Air Canada 747-400 and Continental 737-200 are other examples. The quality is whole different story however…
