Hey all,
I started posting what i’m calling “Model Mondays” on my instagram to show off models in my collection. I’m planning to try showing off stuff I don’t get out much or stuff that doesn’t already have great photos online available. I’ll post them here as well for you all to see. All photos will be “standardized” showing both side angles, sometimes a front, plus a few others that I decide while photographing. The focus of this thread is on the models more than the diorama setups I normally do! (i’ll also loosely be abandoning my normal collection thread as well with all this. Probably posting more diorama setups content in that from now on if I do). Enjoy some photos!

Model Monday #1:

This frame was originally intended for Aloha Airlines but was taken never taken up. Instead, it started its life with National Airways Corporation (NAC) in 1971 at ZK-NAJ. In 1978 it was transferred over to Air New Zealand. In 1986 it was moved to the United States under the “old” Frontier Airlines as N7310F and later that year finally moved to Continental Airlines. In 1992 it was re-registered to N10248 and then was finally withdrawn from use in September of 1998. I would assume it got painted into this globe scheme in 1992 when it was re-registered which puts this specific model in a 6 year window. It was broken up at Ardmore Municipal.
