Is the Air Astana 767 by panda model on sale yet?

This must be the most mysterious model of all time; it came out of nowhere and suddenly disappeared. I saw people have started getting their model in this forum, but I cannot find any retailer that sells it? Not in China, not in the States, the only ones I could find are some pre-orders in Europe? Like you literally cannot find anything about this model even across all Chinese retailer websites...


Very curious what happened to his model, does anyone know any info? I asked in their RedNote app and BST (the brand that released it) said the retailing is up to Panda at this point and they have zero knowledge about the process apparently. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Check out the "Show your latest purchase" thread. Some users already got theirs. I remember reading about BST backing off from releasing the model, and Panda stepped up and released themselves. Something like that

The model was canceled by BST due to painting mistake. You actually most likely never notice this mistake because it is almost unnoticeable after the fix. Panda fixed it and kinda released it themselves but almost no stores have it. I saw only one listing on taobao and not really sure they have it or it was old pre-order listing. I got mine from a fair in China where Panda sold models, a friend bought it for me.

thanks for the info, very good details to know. Honestly, I cannot notice any mistake IMO this model is flawless. It was my holy grail model and would have been the model of the year, but suddenly it just magically disappeared everywhere, like it never happened...

The mistake is super minor and well covered. You really should know where was it to see what left.
I have been waiting for this model since it was announced and it seems to be very huge luck for me to get it. I think Panda brought less than 10 copies on that fair. It looks like that it is actually not released yet what can explain that it is available no where

I have been waiting for this model since it was announced and it seems to be very huge luck for me to get it. I think Panda brought less than 10 copies on that fair. It looks like that it is actually not released yet what can explain that it is available no where

Actually, it was because Panda printed the wing paint incorrectly. To fix it, they removed the winglets, reprinted them, and then pieced them back together, which created a crack that can be seen if you look closely.
And BST canceled the order, so no official release.

I was going to get half a dozen from BST. Then, as explained here, they canceled it and referred me to Panda. I asked Panda about it but then communication with them ceased for several months. When Panda finally came back with an invoice the Air Astana model was not included and I was so eager to get the order moving forward that I didn’t ask about it again.

That's lucky find! hopefully it's just not released yet otherwise it'd be a long campaign to get it.

Ugh I figured, Panda has not been very active last year compared to before I feel. It is at least comforting to know maybe that means the model has not been released yet. If you do get to stock them one day plz let us know cuz that's a hot one
