Interflug IL-62M DDR-SEN and DDR-SET.

DDR-SEN is from Gemini Jets 2021 and DDR-SET is from Schafer 2004.

Two makers of same airplane (different regs) but 18 years between releases.

The Gemini Jets (DDR-SEN) is always on the LEFT

Which one do you prefer?

Both equally acceptable with slight variation in the shade of red. However the Schafer on the right appears to have the edge with more accurate cockpit framing and also very slightly larger INTERFLUG titles. I have the Gemini version and quite happy with it.

Yes, the Schafer has a brighter red color. All other Interflug models I have are more like the GJ one. The Schafer is also made in plastic (I think) big difference in weight between these two.
But I like the both.

The color on the Schafer looks a bit better to me, but they are both nice models.

Schäfer seems to have the correct shade of red. I have the Gemini one but both look good

I have the Gemini version too, I think it looks ok, but red is a nightmare colour to match

Agreed the Schafer looks really good and perhaps a slightly better color. I like the mold on both.

Interesting, I've never heard of Schäfer before, I like the look of that one more but I'm a little annoyed by the yellowed plastic parts...
