I’m thinking of starting a retro series for my model airport, I need a little help

I’m thinking of starting a retro update series for KRDM, the second airport I do updates on, (and also my home airport) based off of JJ Aviation’s retro FSD project. I’ve only been able to find schedules for 1997, 2001 and 2005 on departedflights, but I need more years than that. Does anyone know where I could find other years of schedules?

I also need to track down several models for this project.

• Horizon Air Q100/Q200
• Horizon Air Dornier 328
• United Express Beech 1900
• United Express E120 Brasilia
• Delta Connection CRJ100/CRJ200 in the older color schemes
• Any other models relevant to the project, and models for years not mentioned above.

I would for sure buy it. Also hoping 3Ddesigndeck makes a few as well so I can have some variation, the more E120s the merrier.

I got the Alaska E175, but unfortunately have none of the others. Planning on getting all of these though. Even for my present day updates I’m missing some key aircraft (United Express, Delta E175, American E175, Avelo 737-700)

Hopefully they re release those, I don’t think I could justify those prices, after all, I’m saving up for United Express releases that Gemini hopefully drops in June.

I might consider it, I’m my budget allows for it. Just waiting on Gemini June announcements then I can move to buying models.

Happy to hear my Retro FSD series gave you inspiration to pursue your own project! Finding other years would require you to purchase timetables of the airlines that operated to RDM. They're fairly easy to find if you check eBay, I recommend these two stores:
- dk0 (he also sells old airplane slides among other things)
- AirTimes

You'll also find other sellers by just searching for timetables generally. I'm surprised there's as big a market for them as it is today! Most timetables are about $5 to $10 depending on the airline, year, and if it was printed just for a specific city or region. Older ones generally go for more (e.g. 1950s and before).

Sounds great! I’ll likely buy a few at some point, maybe after I get some more money from work, and do updates for the years on departedflights. By the way, I also have taken inspiration from your random model airports series and started a series of my own, if you don’t mind. (First and only airport I’ve done for the series is Billings, Montana)
