Which I will always have a problem with - HX rushed this out to market block forthcoming 747s, especially to release NG's approved CRP requests in a hurry - even with incorrect printing details.

Actually the modification started really early. Those were just remaining plan of the former mould. The previous mould was produced with a relatively large number.
I remembered to have seen the photos of NCA 748 in production this summer So there will be a few more former moulds. Don’t panic, the new one will be soon.
