Herpa 1:500 March - April 2026 news

I write here because i am sure that, in this forum, i can find "a shoulder to cry on" (as we say in Italy.
16 items announced, two are GSE (loaders), one is a re-release (Etihad A350-1000).
So 13 items remaining and, among these:
- the third LOT Il-18 after the already produced SP-LSE and SP-LSF
- 3 (three!!!) Lufthansa models, A330-300, A350-900 "100 Years" and A321neo "Help Alliance"
- 2 Government airplanes, A340-500 Turkey and Qatar Government
- third (or even fourth) Antonov An-225 (i remember for those not so confident about the airplane we are talking about, Antonov An-225 is a six engines airplane, just an airframe built by Antonov and destroyed during the shameful Russian - Ukraine war.
Herpa continues to produce this model...
So, among 16 items, what can we consider "news"?
American Airlines A320, Air Europa B737 MAX8 (GREAT RELEASE!!!), British Airways A321neo, Thai Airways A350-900 "Star Alliance", China Southern B737 MAX8 and American Airlines B777-300ER "Flagship".
With these models i am even more sure that if Aether Model will start to produce narrowbodies focusing on Ryanair, easyJet, Volotea, Neos, Enter Air, Jet2holidays, Southwest Airlines, Wizz Air etc will be come leader in 1:500 scale.

The A340-500s are nice choices.
The An-225 will probably be a good seller, since most of the collectors enjoy this fallen giant!

Some fairly good (and safe) choices by Herpa... Although the Lufthansa narrowbody is once again in a special livery. The LH A330 is probably the biggest joke of this release batch for me as it will be more expensive, will arrive later and will be less detailed than the Aether Model version which will be available soon !

The only new Herpa product I would buy is the United A319 I saw recently.
