I don’t post often but I have to say this thing is just wow I have lots of 200 scale models and the American SP is just a pure thing of beauty. I remember seeing at the gate at DFW circa 1989 and being blown away.

Are the wingtip static wicks bent? I have a seen a fair amount of content on the Gemini SP with these looking broken or bent out of the box.

Looks like it yes, but they are a separate piece that fit into a tiny hole on the wingtip. It is an easy fix to straighten out.

Oh these come as a separate piece? I had no idea Gemini did that on the SP’s. I always thought they were always broken.

They aren't static wicks. They're HF antennas. The Gemini idea of inserting them manually is brilliant. They don't arrive bent and you can remove them if you need to re package your model.
