Geministar have been busy in 2025 with 32 releases either out or announced this year. Those have included a trio of 737-800BCFs. This release features B-227D SF Airlines first 737-800. SF only started operations at the end of 2009, but is now the largest cargo airline by fleet size (89) in China and second only to China Post in terms of operations. The fleet includes 13 737-300s and 3 737-400s, but this aircraft, delivered on the 15th anniversary of operations starting, is the first 737-800BCF for them and makes them the 8th Chinese airline to fly 737NG freighters. I do find the SF Airlines livery to be one of the best cargo liveries out there. This aircraft was originally delivered new to Shanghai Airlines on lease from ILFC on April 30th, 2007. It was converted to a freighter at Tianjin between August and December 2024. Nice release using the Panda Models mould.

Beautiful model and really great livery too! I was really happy when SF Airlines got their 747 in this full scheme aswell. This 737 looks super neat.

JDL Airlines was formerly known as Jiangsu Jingdong Cargo Airlines and as the name suggests is a subsidiary of JD Logistics, itself a subsidiary of the ecommerce site JD.com. It is based at Nantong Xingdong International in Jiangsu province on the East coast and began operations only in October 2022, having previously contracted cargo flights with others since 2017. The portion of the fleet painted into the red JD Express scheme consists of 8 2006/2007 build 737-800BCFs. B-221L is a former Xiamen Airlines machine leased from Aercap.

In December 2024 JD Logistics acquired the remaining 36.43% it didn't already own of the Kuayue-Express Group, an integrated speed transport company specialising in limited time express service of small freight parcels. Accordingly two further JD Airlines 737-800BCFs (making 10 overall) fly in this distinctly different Kuayue Express livery. B-224N is a 2007 build ex-Shanghai Airlines aircraft, formerly B-5185.
