Gemini Jets October Releases

I hope the United isn't a tailsitter. The 500 mould has that tendency, but it's one I want to pickup too.

What do we think about the battleship grey tone? Looks very light again... Ugh that might be a dealbreaker actually

It definitely is a tail sitter - pretty clear in their photo as well - like all their 735s unfortunately - that itself is a primary dealbreaker for me - and yes, the grey does appear too light

The 500s have quite a tall nose gear. That needs to be shortened, and perhaps plastic horizontal stabilizers might help? I know JC does this with the 739.

As for the color it’s definitely light, similar to the Air Wisconsin CRJ-200 they did almost nine years ago. I personally don’t mind it, seeing as I might need to pick this up for my dormant Retro FSD project.

Yeesh, I was excited till I saw the color. Very light indeed. I assume some is from whatever photo editing they did but it’s definitely way too light compared to the real thing…

The northwest color is a pleasant surprise though! It’s much closer to the real thing than I thought it would be by a mile.

Maybe overexposure in the release photo? I don't trust manufacture photos for livery accuracy because they tend to explode the saturation
Check out Gemini’s 1:200 United 737 they did last month.. It’s the same shade of gray and it’s far too light.

On the topic of Battleship, do you guys think this color is accurate enough? I kind of want a 200 scale 777 in this livery. It's the IF. Maybe it is a bit too blue? I'd consider the JC version but the nose gear... 2nd pic is the IF200 1762670195140.png1762669805245.png
