I'd love a regular scheme - but not on the terrible GJ/JC mouldThe only aircraft in this release that is tempting for me is the VietJet A330 which I believe is the first release of this.

We need that American 319!!!95%! 100% Would've been an AA 319 IAE and non-US narrowbody, such a good release!!!
Just missing a Hawaiian for this to be the most boring and predictable GJ release in history.
80 DOLLARS FOR A FLAPS DOWN 787?!?In my opinion, 1:400 is really bland, only a few good models. 1:200 is just mostly rereleases into the scale moved over from 1:400. I won’t be buying any. They had a lot of potential for these and didn’t deliver what we wanted. The American 789 is in stock at many retailers and an unnecessary release. I think we needed another United or American A319 instead.
On the good side, the 1:200 E175 and Saab is nice, two releases us 200 collectors have been wanting for a while. The Saab has been a future release for so long, that it’s good they got it out. The NWA 753 is also very interesting.View attachment 56823
I haven’t seen many stores that actually sell models at the MSRP80 DOLLARS FOR A FLAPS DOWN 787?!?
Since when are gemini jets so expensive ת
I actually agree as a 1:200 collector. Almost everything that was released we knew was coming.Just missing a Hawaiian for this to be the most boring and predictable GJ release in history.
I have to point this out as objectively false.Just missing a Hawaiian for this to be the most boring and predictable GJ release in history.
Idk sound hella expensive even with 10 dollars off the price s חרI haven’t seen many stores that actually sell models at the MSRP

Sure there are a lot of typical Gemini sights here (Delta, AA, Emirates, United) but when you really dig into this release set it has several gems that make this quite a nice set.
Sure Gemini does a ton of Emirates - but a 727? Never done by them before
Gemini’s last NWA release was a L-188 Electra in 2022. And technically they have done a 753 in this scheme before… but it was 22 years ago in 2003 so I think it’s fair to say we were due for an updated one.
The United 737-500? Never done before in the battleship scheme and always nice to see that livery in addition to the 737-500 being a less common variant.
Also Norse and Vietjet are 2 that I am 100% not interested in but unfair to call those “boring and predictable”
Someone check my temperature with all the Gemini defending I’ve been doing lately lol
And the United 737-500 is a real surprise for me. I wasn't even sure if they still had the mould. To be honest, I’m finding it annoying when people say GJ releases are predictable. They clearly are finding ways to throw some curveballs in to keep collectors on their toes. As a US collector I’m happy to see Vietjet Air and Norse make it into the mix, usually airlines they don’t do.
I agree, and it's the exact same for when people constantly moan in every NG model's monthly release hint threads. Just because it doesn't fit your criteria doesn't mean it's a boring and predictable release...To be honest, I’m finding it annoying when people say GJ releases are predictable. Okay, I concede that there were some surprises and not entirely predictable like the Vietjet but really, a sixth Delta 717 a fourth American 787-9. As Jake Peralta would say, Gemini Jets, ya boring.
Depends what your collection criteria is I suppose so we will have to agree to disagree. The Norse has been done already, Ethiopian is a fantasy, Emirates and Vietjet are probably the only really highlights.Your logic is flawed that the set is boring because 2 of 9 releases (I’m not counting the flaps down versions as separate releases) are frequent re-releases.
I literally listed 5 models above and why they were unique/not boring.
