Gemini Jets: It's worth waiting for the best

Definitely interesting. How I like to view it: while you can objectively call Panda’s releases the best in terms of quality, their releases won’t be the best due to them being equipped with the test registration (unless they correct this). NG will probably make them soon with the correct registrations, plus you’ll see a whole slew of manufacturers doing them, including GJ. I’m going for them to release these since I know they will be the cheapest.

Cheaper by like $5 tops.

You're whatabouting the fact that gemini is calling their product "the best".

Pretty sure Panda will also separately release ones with the actual regs.

Well, at least Delta fans have a lot of the best already! No need to wait.
I am a Delta fan (like I am also a fan of thousands of other airlines) but still not got a lot of the best actually. GJ mould, printing and release choices (re-releases) are disappointing. GJ is dying and now all hopes are on NG and Panda for Delta Air Lines (777-200LR/ER, A350-900, 757-300, MD88/90…)

I don't think GJ are dying. I suspect they are doing fine, but the suggestion that they are the best is laughable. I don't really understand the price argument, especially at the sort of low volumes you're purchasing @JJ Skippy . I mean isn't it like a chocolate bar or coffee basically you're saving? All to get a model that is often markedly inferior?

Looking at the last twenty or so Gemini Delta releases and I don't really understand why anybody would buy the 767-400s, A350s or 737s unless they simply didn't know there were alternatives. The A220s, CRJs, MD-80s, MD-90s, 717s and 757s are all more easily defended, but aside from perhaps the CRJs none can be considered particularly high quality products by modern 400 scale standards.

The message GJ is giving out here is that their corporate relationship has some value to collectors - it clearly does not.

NG‘s made over 20 unique (real) Deltas both modern and classic, including multiple releases of popular choices like the 757, 767, Tristar, 330neo and 359. Not to mention Panda’s stellar 767s. I think that’s quite a lot of quality models, especially relative to many other flag carriers who get sporadic, nonsensical or zero quality releases at all.

You are right but NG still didn’t make any Delta 757-300, A350-900 (regular) or 777-200LR/ER
