Those rings in the back are an eye sore. Looks like chain mail or reptile skin.

Not a big fan. The circles make it worse. Looks like scales as @ghqv2988 said. I might look into the 200 scale version if it’s good.

I think they put it up too early. It should return once it's unveiled.

Although this isn't the best livery, I don't mind it. Honestly prefer it to the flagship centennial livery for the 777 as I wished AAL would use their 100 Years branding.

Also, it's an AAL 738 in 1:400 scale, which means I absolutely need it no matter what.

does anyone know the reg if the photo came with one? if we can pin down which it is that could answer a lot of questions

The circles on the back look a bit odd but I overall kinda like it. Simple and effective. Maybe if the circles faded as they lived towards the nose instead of a hard cutoff?

If they did something like a Stars and Stripes pattern on the fuselage that merged with the vertical stab, that would have been born only patriotic and true to the AA theme but also much more appealing.

The fade would add a better touch for sure. The 0s probably symbolize the 0s behind the 1, but it just looks like 000000000 the way it’s mapped out
