Gemini Jets August 2025 Releases

AA US Airways heritage for me! Gotta complete the set. Means I have to get rid of the meh Aeroclassics version finally. might want to grab the United CRJ550 as well. Decent selection for many in this set which is great to see.

GJ releasing a random JAL domestic while they repeated multiple times they would never make japanese airlines when I suggested some JAL and ANA long-haul… GeminiJets are liars just like JC Wings!!! 😡 Moreover GJ is dying with their poor choices of releases, rereleases and old mould and printing which is worse than the last years. I used to love GJ when they made good models but their quality has fallen while other brands like NG, AV400 and Panda are rising!

The JAL is a welcomed surprise, but 50% are re-releases with a different reg.
I think enough time has passed for some of these rereleases to be acceptable. While yes plenty of manufacturers have made the United A321neo for instance, if you look at the CRJ-550 it’s been nearly six full years since the first release and collectors have been begging for it to come back (one in particular might show up on this thread soon)

I will say though, the EK A380 is an interesting case. The livery has been long gone, but I suspect a corporate order played a role in that one coming back this month.

FINALLY! United express has returned for the first time in years! I will be buying multiple of these!

Nice set of release. Definitely getting the American Airlines US Airways Heritage. United Express is a maybe, also for the United A321NEO.
Would the reg of the Express be subtle ;). N506GJ.

Looks like I’ll be settling on the US Airways heritage. Definitely gonna get on my hands on the JAL MD-90 for fun later and maybe the C-5A. Been a long time since they made one.

A more diverse Gemini set, finally! JAL MD-90 is something pretty unexpected. Binter E2 is a very welcome release! The Cubana ATR is also nice and the C-5 Galaxy is very cool aswell. The rest is the same Gemini-style stuff as always

Apart from the JAL and Binter, these are pretty boring releases but at least the entitled Yank collectors will be happy.
I’m not sure where you’re seeing any “entitled Yank collectors” — other American collectors I’ve talked to are pretty happy to see the unique international offerings

Well it kind of does, the American collectors who were complaining that NG doesn't make enough American models should be happy that a manufacturer has made 50% of their models this month American.
It hasn't been just American collectors complaining to NG, I've seen collectors from other regions share sentiments.

Their future releases are looking better for global variety which I'm happy about, but a lot more progress needs to be made to make a majority of collectors satisfied.

There are several reasons why "Americans" have been complaining about NG for various reasons but that's not what this thread is about. I for one actually dislike this month's Gemini releases for my own personal collection criteria. Again, as I said above, it's not correct to generalize the actions of a few in which I am in agreeance with you.

Good to finally see the Cubana big bro ATR.
And the Binter E2 is great - now we need the CRJ-X to accompany it!

But considering the bulging front section of their MD-90, I'm not so excited by the JAL - even though it's a welcome subject.
