Time for the big one - a detailed comparison of 6 of the most widely used 747-100/200 moulds. We've already discussed some of the issues with the HX 747s, but a comparison with the older moulds, plus the NG Lite, shows them to be miles ahead of all but one. Obviously this is my opinion, hopefully backed up by evidence. I really enjoy reading your mould comparisons. Hopefully HX can make this a fruitful niche. Sometimes I worry that there aren’t enough collectors of the classics, based on what most manufacturers choose to bring to market these days.
