Air Caraïbes Airbus A350-1041 F-HMIL by Herpa. This aircraft started its life as F-WXLV, a prototype until 2019 when it joined Air Caraïbes. It is currently stored in Bordeaux, France.

Herpa took way too long to release an Air Caraibes plane.
By the way, this one being stored took me by surprise. I wonder if Air Caraibes is facing some overcapacity?

I think a lot of manufacturers, regardless of scale, take way too long to make French airlines that aren't Air France .
I too was surprised to know this aircraft was stored . But this exact aircraft went to Bordeaux, where it is currently stored, in 2019 to be reconfigured into a passenger plane before being delivered to Air Caraïbes. So it could be that it is currently being reconfigured.

My Herpa Air France fleet:
- Airbus A318-111 F-GUGO in the new livery. This aircraft is unusual since it has no name which is usually the case with new livery AF aircraft and I saw it last year.
- Airbus A330-203 F-GZCE 'Colmar'. This is one of the first A330s retired by Air France this year. It is currently stored in Tarbes .
- Airbus A350-941 F-HTYC 'Saint Denis de La Réunion'. I saw this aircraft earlier this year.
- Boeing 747-128 F-BPVM in the 1998 FIFA world cup livery. This aircraft actually started flying for Air France with a US registration (N63305) in 1973 and only received a French registration in 1982. It has been retired in 2000 and scrapped in 2002.
- Boeing 777-328ER F-GSQF 'Papeete' in the new livery
- Boeing 787-9 F-HRBH

Herpa Air Caraibes A350-1000 Is a masterpiece of beauty.
It Is incredible like Herpa A350-900 and A350-1000 (same mould, the same cockpit windows/nose section, just stretched the -1000 version) are so different: the -1000 version has an almost perfect nose section shape and all the -1000 models are well detailed, while the -900 version Is poor in details and has the nose section wrong.

It’s diecast but the landing gear is made of plastic.

Hogan three ANA A380s are better than JCWings but they are completely plastic made. Better livery tampo print and more detailed.
JCWings three ANA A380s are metal (alloy) and this makes them more realistic in your hand.
Hogan always produced great models even if often plastic made and very often without registration.
