Crank It Back: A US Retro Wishlist

I am very sure that all of us would benefit from an American Airlines Fokker 100

GJ has already done one...
It’s been nearly 15 years (November 2008) since it was released, and considering the insane market price for it, I think a rerelease is due.
I think there's enough demand for it that GJ should consider it, with their higher production runs than AC.
Does GJ still have the 732? Last one they did was Pan Am’s Billboard livery in February 2017, of which I have.

That's a great question; I assume they do. Otherwise, NG needs to get on the ball. I would love for them to bring out the 732 (bonus points for a 731 in Continental and People Express!), 721, 722, and the complete DC-9 series. AC needs some competition!

As far as I know, their 737-200 Mould is still active.

Keeping with the retro wish lists, I would love to see all of these MD-80s released....they are all critical to my IND retro airport project.

I’m with you on all of those.

GJ has the USAir MD-82 red polished as a future release.

Bumping this because I’ve got a good contribution of models/moulds that I would think would be really cool for any Delta geek just like me (even though I never knew about 90% of these existed 😬) Not all of these would be considered retro to some people but they will do. @JJ Skippy I know you would agree with a lot of these.

(Another one being the Delta Connection E135 Wavy Gravy & Upward & Onward which could be one that is made relatively soon if there’s a mould available or could be make pretty easily I feel, I don’t feel like making a separate post for the picture and it’s self explanatory)

Most of these if not all are gonna require some new moulds to be made so it’s definitely an extensive wishlist. I could see Aeroclassics making some of these, or maybe even Gemini if it’s possible to make some of these smaller ones. Hopefully one day 🤞

With Gemini it’s definitely possible for them to do the Delta Dash 8 and the BEX/ASA Avros. Others would either only be done in 1:200 or, as of right now, would require Shapeways customs.

Speaking of 1:200 that would be some great ideas for NG to try as they seem to flourish with those smaller 1:200s.
