Collection Updates: All the Planes_On_A_Shelf :)

#0013 - Northwest Airlines DC-10-30 N240NW
Aeroclassics

My first concern, when release pictures were announced of this long-awaited model - was the very visible shade difference between the engines and the fuselage in the photographs online.
Gladly I report that, in real life, with the naked eye, this is not really visible - and in the photos below - the difference appears marginal - if you are 'looking for it'

A lovely lovely addition - need the sexy thermometer scheme now to give this one company

Love this DC-10, it’s even better with the Bowling Shoe. Need to find that and get the spilt NWA/KLM too!

#0015 - Air Malta A320-200 9H-AEO
Wings400 (Panda Models OEM)

Fabulous model - a Wings400 exclusive - highly recommended! Air Malta has had some great liveries over the years, and this one looked so elegant on the A320. There's an 'approved' CRP wish for an A320neo in the latest, or last scheme, before the company folded. Looking forward to that one, whenever it comes.

There was a NW AC Bowling Shoe DC-10 on Waffle a couple of days ago, but it sold within minutes... Actually, it sold before Waffle even published the collection sale list :( Been trying to find one myself.

Hehe yes! Hopefully I come across those two at some point! Also looking for the DC-10-40s - of which NWA was the launch operator.
The split NWA/KLM one by Dragon is a fabulous model, I highly recommend buying that one if you can find it!
I have also seen photos of the Gemini version and a very rare Aeroclassics version out there aswell. I'm not too sure which one makes the best one between the three.

Aero classics has the better rendition if you're comparing Gemini Jets or Dragon. The engine pylon on the wing mounted engines is more accurate and so is the overall build.

I see. The first issue would be even finding the actual model if you want the AC 😅
Yeah, you can find whatever you're looking for you just have to pay $200 for it.. :ROFLMAO: There are a lot of models from AC I would love to get my hands on but unfortunately, they are either really expensive, won't be released again or impossible to find and we don't have enough competition to drive prices down.
