Hey Folks and Fellow Community Members

Making this thread as a means for me to share (and thus also record & document for my own sake) my 1:400 collection - in no specific order other than whichever box I grab first lol.

Been woefully lagging in this activity - and perhaps this will help me maintain 'some' measure of consistency lol.

Disclaimer: pictures won't be of the best quality or resolution and they maybe fuzzy - just as I am in the head 😆

Thanks and Cheers!
Happy Collecting!

NG Models

What better model to start off with, than this potential 2025 MOTY - spectacular in every sense of the word - a long-awaited release that confirms NG's CRP program is a great way for collectors to commission models!

Great start. Such an amazing model indeed. Hope to see NG releasing more L-1011s soon!

C-models (Panda Models OEM)

This airframe was my first NG CRP wish - and the first one to be approved as well lol!

But you can't not get this. My photos won't do justice - glad to finally see a long-awaited release on the best active 763 mould.

One of the most beautiful Retrojets to ever fly - and one of the best airline liveries ever.

Wonderful Condor 767. That model is a beauty!
I had that one in 1:500 when I used to collect that scale. I've also seen an photographed the real one here in my city some years ago 🥹
Wow that must have been something! Those photographs will be cherished. Such a beautiful aircraft - hopefully we'll see a new Condor Retrojet at some point (not-so-secret fantasy - on an A330neo 😍)

Aeroclassics

This was a White Whale find for me - the hulking 'Whispering Giant' in the unlikely later Cubana colours - to join my copy of the classic livery version. One of the best airline liveries - that still continues to live today - here on an extraordinary, if unfortunately unsuccessful, aircraft.

#0007 - VIASA Convair CV-880 YV-C-VIB
Aeroclassics

One of three operated by VIASA - this model was the last one to complete the type trio in my VIASA fleet - the other two should appear on this thread at some point. The beautiful Convair CV-880/990 is my favorite 1st Gen US quadjet. Looked spectacular in this dual livery - and especially in the bold, stark and simple VIASA colours.

Phoenix Models

From a 1st Gen quadjet, to a last-Gen single deck quadjet - My third VA A346 - Phoenix missed the subtle metallic effect on the warm grey of the fuselage - nonetheless, a spectacular scheme on an iconic, and gorgeous, machine. And a lovely lovely model to have for a self-confessed A346 fanatic - graceful and eye-catching.

#0009 - China Cargo MD-11(F) B-2172

Love this scheme on any airframe - unfortunately the passenger version was released as a China-only CW Wings exclusive - one of those annoying Panda OEM releases LOL that you'd hope were widely available.
Nonetheless, this beauty joins an earlier JC Wings passenger MD-11.

#0011 - Air Algerie A330-200 7T-VJZ
Phoenix Models

This one went back into my cart after @DTcustoms posted encouraging pictures of the landing gear heights modifications being made - that, for me, restored PHXs as the worthy second best active A332 mould on the market (waiting for the modifications to be made on the A333)

Needless to say - this is a great model of an overlooked carrier amongst 1:400 moderns - with a crisp and lovely, yet minimal and visually well-balanced, scheme - that the venerable A332 carries beautifully.
