Classic TWA 747-100 Gemini Jets Release & Globes Scheme Fleet

The 717 I reviewed yesterday wasn't the only TWA Globes scheme addition I've made recently. I picked up this 2002 release Gemini Jets 747-100 from the Amsterdam Aviation Fair also. These old Gemini 747s are super solid and reliable models. This scheme also nicely hides the wing seam and looks great on the Jumbo.

The earliest of these Gemini 747s didn't come with stand holes either but fortunately this one is late enough that it does. Just as well because fitting 747s into the display is a challenge! Here is the more modern end of the TWA fleet with 6 Globes liveried birds as follows:

767-200 - Aeroclassics
747, 727, 767-300, 717 - Gemini Jets
757 - NG Models

Oustanding addition, Richard! This is an outstanding TWA fleet, so much so, I believe you could make a mini St. Louis display sometime!

Agreed. Would love to see Twin Stripes and the final livery be released.

This would be awesome to see! Last I saw I think it’s still wearing this livery at the MKC airport. Hopefully it still is because I would love to see it.
