Just occasionally a model pops up that you didn't know existed. That happened to me recently with this interesting Alaska 727 wearing near full CP Air colours. What's going on? To understand it requires a return to 1982 when AS was expanding and CP was not. It gives me a welcome opportunity to return to the avhistory blog as well:
