That Corsair A330 would fit great in your Martinique diorama. But now I don't really remember... the diorama is in 1:400 or 1:500???

Thanks. Fort-de-France is in 1:500 scale but i am projecting to realize It in 1:400 and the same for Point-a-Pitre. I have to check how to realize at least four parking stands for both airports, so i can use Corsair, Frenchbee, Air Caraibes and Air France.
And using the already realized terminal buildings.

After a stop of many years (divorce, cancer etc etc) i finished Detroit "Wayne County" Airport 1:500 scale. Very satisfied!

Tahiti "Fa'aa" Airport 1:400 scale finally finished (here without terminal building). These are the layouts i prefer, those with "extreme" aprons, "weird" like cubist painting, difficult to create but never boring and standardized.

Exotic airport of the French Antilles.

New project in 1:400 scale, with a different way to create the tarmac, using the cardboard.
This because i had problems with the wood panel surface so i tried the cardboard and to work the surface.
This airport Is "Abeid Amani Karume", Zanzibar Island, Tanzania.
Zanzibar is not only a very famous holiday destination in Africa but also the place where the Immortal Freddie Mercury has born.
I already created Zanzibar "Karume" in 1:500 scale but the apron was resurfaced and changed a lot.
I am projecting this layout also for 1:500 models.

Finished! Zanzibar "Abeid Amani Karume" International Airport in both 1:400 and 1:500 scale FINISHED!
Ready for holiday and cultural traffic. I am very happy for the result using the cardboard instead of paint to cover the wood panel. I used this method because of the formica on the wood panel surface, a material that make impossible to the water paint to adhere to the surface.

Next project is Rome FCO Airport, section of the Satellite Terminal building and apron, parking stands and gates for non Schengen and Intercontinental flights.
