Charter's airports from the world.

This is just an appetizer of Fictional "The Rock" Airport (1:500 scale), a long runway over the ocean with a very challenging landing.
SBA-Santa Barbara Airlines B757-200 in the back with a very rare Azores Airlines A330-200 just landed. This is mainly a regional airport and widebodies are not common.
I had the idea of this kind of airport after knowing Trabzon Airport (Turkey) through the Pegasus Airlines B737-800WL accident (2018, no victims, no injuries), i was really folgorated by the danger and beauty of and airport like this!

Tallinn Airport (TLL) 1:500 scale. Estonia main hub with 3.4 millions pax per year, and home of airBaltic.
I decided to create this airport especially because of the many Herpa airBaltic A220-300 models and because there are enough 1:500 models to be represented here (despite some missing like Heston Airlines, SkyLine Express, FreeBird, Mavi Gok etc).

Manchester Airport (MAN, UK) 1:500 scale.
As you can see from the pics this layout has been a very difficult job but i am proud of the result.
Why Terminal 2? Because of the iconic pics of widebodies parked here, especially when airlines like Excel/XL, Monarch, Thomson still were flying. Today the line up has changed but the beauty of the traffic at this terminal is always the same!

Apron looks fantastic. Awesome work.

Skiathos Airport (Greece, JSI), a small European "Saint Marteen" with airplanes landing few meters over the heads of the many tourists, spotters and just curious waiting for the adventure at threshold of the runway 02. The same for take-off with the engines launched at maximum thrust for takeoff that literally throw the unwary or the brave to the ground after several somersaults.
Here Niki E190, SAS A321 and Smartwings B737W during landing runway 02.

Here a 1:500 scale airport "Heraklion type" with old but always beautiful rounded parking stands. These type of parking stands/parking lines and marks were typical of Greek airports and Balcans airports (Pola and Tivat, for example), with a peak at London LCY Airport with regional airplanes parking with the tail towards the terminal building. At LCY airport there aren't "rounded" parking stands but straight parking lines. I always loved these kind of parking stands, since i started to know and appreciate airports full of charter traffic like "old" Rhodes and Corfù.

Just an appetizer also for Saint Marteen "Princess Juliana" Airport, 1:500 scale: Air France A340-300 short final over Maho Beach, full of tourists, spotters and curious.
