Charter 1:400 collection.

The DAN & HiSky liveries are lovely - the Dan is spectacular - the Dragon partly seen within the visible frame, in flag colours, is just fabulous livery design! I've loved the HiSky livery too - there's a CRP wish already made for this :)

Condor B757-300WL Corfù - Dusseldorf engine fire soon after takeoff Corfù airport.
Emergency landing at Bari Airport. No injuries.
IMG_20250818_073513.jpg
Two hundred and seventy three passengers and eight crew were on board the Condor Airways Boeing 757-300, when the engine malfunctioned a few minutes after take off from Corfu airport and burst into flames.
The incident on the DE3665 flight to Dusseldorf, carrying mostly German tourists, was witnessed by dozens of locals and visitors to the island who recorded it on their mobile phones, with many reporting a deafening sound, seemingly like an explosion, coming from the aircraft.
The right engine malfunctioned at 1500 feet, when the plane was still in take off mode, with pilots moving to deactivate, before it caused any further damage. The Boeing was flying over the Corfu port at the time.
The pilots then turned the plane to the right, in parallel to the take off and landing runway, as the Corfu airport was placed on red alert and all the emergency landing protocols put in place.
This however did not happen as the pilots decided they could continue the flight with a single engine. The aircraft then moved at an altitude of 8 thousand feet and landed at Brindisi airport, Italy, across from Corfu.
According to German network RTL, the pilots were forced to change course to Brindisi as the engine malfunction did not allow them to carry through the flight to Dusseldorf.
‘We apologise for any inconvenience, but passenger safety is our top priority at any given time’, Condor airways said in a statement.

The shade of blue seems ok, considering the sunlight angle on the fuselage of the model. The photo took at model level has the sunlight direct below my shoulders so the blue shide could seem lighter; taking the photo from the high allow to have a right shade of blue on the fuselage.

Russian airlines: we love aviation, airlines, airlines, liveries, airplane models. Everything of the real life must be out of our hobbies. This just to say that i miss Russian airlines a lot, with all their beautiful liveries and striking colors.

Then the SSJ-100: of i am not wrong there aren't SSJ-100 in 1:400 scale and this Is a very bad thing! There should be many possibilities to produce great models. We have the Comac C919 but no the SSJ-100...really incredible.

Continental Airways Tu-154: i remember when, looking at her in Salzburg Airport before the Tu-154 was banned from Europe, someone told me "how Is It possible Continental used the Tu-154?!", this was a different Continental, this was Russian charter Continental Airways.

Almasria Universal Is a charter airline based in Egypt flying the A320, but i would like someone producing the gorgeous B737-400.

Electra Airways A320: this Is an ex ITA Airways A320 flying for the Bulgarian Electra Airways in almost completely ITA Airways livery.

Meridiana. Who, among "mature" (absolutely not old!) European collectors, don't know Meridiana and its MD-80s? A very sad story.for this glorious Italian airline, founded in 1963 and based at Olbia "Costa Smeralda" airport. In 2018 the airline changed name in Air Italy S.P.A.
Gemini produced this model, part of Meridiana history and Italian airlines history.
