Charter 1:400 collection.

I hope a crazy manufacturer (like JCWings, for example) will produce this model: Electra Airways A320 LZ-EAK "ITA Airways hybrid livery" (ex EI-IKU).
It would be really gorgeous and having these hybrid models is only possible for 1:400 scale!

Electra Airways is an ACMI/charter airline based in Sofia (Bulgaria) operating a fleet of A320s.

I would be concerned about JC Wings producing any Airbus A319-321's.

Some A321-200 and A321ceo.
I continue to think that Airbus had a stroke of genious realizing the A320 family. Three different models with immense possibilities for short, medium and, with the A321XLR, long haul routes.
Maybe the B737 MAX is more elegant, but Airbus won the competition for this narrowbodies segment. In my opinion the only serious competitor would have been an improved/enhanced B757, a real iconic airplane.

Always loved the British Airways B737-400, like i love Air Mediterranea, Alba Star and Air Horizont B737-400s.
Never had the opportunity to have it in scale 1:500 because Herpa always missed the occasion to release iconic models (i am referring to BA B737-400 Union Jack tail.
1:400 scale, as usual, did not disappoint me, producing the beautiful British Airways workhorse, a common view in all the most important European airports before, and in all the most important "holiday" airports later, when British Airways started to use the B737-400 for charter flights toward holiday destinations before the phasing out of the model.

Very timidly Herpa announced this airBaltic A220-300 YL-ABX "50th A220" in 1:400 scale.
Very difficult livery to realize, Herpa tampo print very often fails and the quality check in non existing (i will post something like a horror movie in 1:500 scale post, regarding the Qatar Airways B787-9: i do not recommend watching It to the impressionable and faint-hearted!).
I hope Herpa will make a decent job with this model.

Hybrid liveries, incomplete liveries, white non-liveries, exotica and niche airlines...this is the essence of ACMI/charter airlines and world and this is what i love more!
