Building a model airport

Thanks for the appreciation.
And look at how and anonymous apron can become "lived and used" adding some tarmac patches and some dirty. You could also add some cracks on the tarmac but you must be careful and add them just for old aprons, not yet resurfaced (i am referring to the real airport if you want to reproduce and existing layout).

Hi everyone

This is the board where I am going to build my model airport. The board is 182 cm long and 80 cm wide. How would you arrange this?

Regards, Sem

Along the 182 cm you have to develop the apron with the parking stands: 5 cm for the terminal building (5 cm width), 4 cm of space among the terminal bulding and the start of the parking stand (1 cm of space, 3 cm the service road), parkings stands (an A350 is 16 cm long, an A380 about 20 cm long so your parking stand can be about 21 cm long) and the result so far is 30 cm. Then 5 to 7 cm space, then the about 30 cm for the taxiway width. Result so far: 5 + 4 + 21 + 30 = 60 cm. So you have 20 cm of more space to add grass or to stretch the space among the terminal building and the parking stand (service road), to enlarge the taxiway and so on.
