Aviation400 Airbus A380

Is it just me or the Singapore Airlines logo smaller than usual, it is the same as the Aviation400 777 of Singapore Airlines

It looks a tad small… I hadn’t noticed until you pointed it out to be honest… I guess we will just have to wait and see when it comes out.

I think we are going to have to wait until we can see it in perspective against the fuselage… Hopefully AV400 got it right!

All I see is that the displayed tails are missing their bottom white portions. Once they are added it might look just fine.

I noticed that too... Hopefully, they will. I'm counting on AV400 to get this model right, I really would like an SQ A380 but do not want to have to settle for the JC or PH versions.

Hopefully 9V-SKA turns out great. My very first aircraft model was a Hogan 1:200 9V-SKA, so I'll probably get the AV400 out of nostalgia.

I saw 9V-SKA at HKG back in 2016, such a lovely aircraft. I really would like to get it and for it to be a great model, which I am sure it will be. It holds a certain amount of nostalgia for me too, it was the first SQ A380 I had seen because they rarely come to Melbourne. I watched her take off from the window seat of a CX 777 bound for LHR, such a majestic aircraft she was. Sad that she has retired at barely 10 years old, but at least I will have this model to remember her by.

It's a real shame the A380s are retiring so early. My only experience with one was during a redeye from Paris, and it was the smoothest, quietest plane I'd been on. Only the 747-8 comes close.

I've never been on an A380. One day I hope I can, maybe once Qantas brings back the A380 on MEL-LAX I will (If timing and money allow,) fly on it and finally go to all the big airliner shows all over America on one trip. Hopefully one day I can, but for now, I will just be happy with what I have.
