We’re proud to welcome Brian Keene of AvPro Designs as a special guest at Aviation Expo 2026 SEA!
Brian will be hosting in-depth airport diorama workshops throughout the event. He'll break down real build techniques, layout planning, detailing, and practical steps you can immediately apply to your own airport display.
At EACH session, Brian will be giving away a small airport diorama to one lucky attendee.
Every workshop will include dedicated Q&A time.
He’s also bringing suppliers and collaborators to share their expertise with our attendees.

Tour Bookings for Aviation Expo 2026 SEA!
We have more BIG tour updates to share from your Aviation Expo 2026 Seattle Team!
Our second of many tours for AE 2026 SEA will be Alaska Airlines Network Operations Center (NOC) Tours, opening for booking on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM PT.
These tours will take place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. The tour includes an overview of the Alaska Airlines Network Operations Center (NOC) and a visit to the company store.
There will be a 2-block walk south from the DoubleTree hotel to the Alaska Airlines “HUB” building, which hosts the NOC and company store. In the event of inclement weather, alternative transportation will be provided. Each group will be split into 2 sections, with approximately 30 minutes in the NOC and the remaining time in the company store. Each tour will depart the hotel at 3:30 PM. You are free to return to the hotel once your NOC tour is complete.
No photography will be allowed in the NOC. Please be mindful of Alaska Airlines’ wishes for no photography. No backpacks or luggage will be allowed on this tour.

Our third of many tours for AE 2026 SEA will be Kenmore Air Lake Washington Tours/Flights! These trips will be released for booking on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 4pm PT.
These trips will be hosted on Wednesday night and Thursday night. Tours will leave the SeaTac DoubleTree at 4pm both days and return to the hotel around 8pm. This visit highlights one of the largest seaplane operations in the continental United States. Tours will include an overview of their maintenance facility, a possible static seaplane display for viewing, and seaplane spotting.
In addition to the tours, 25-minute scenic seaplane flights over Seattle in a DHC-2 Radial-Engine Beaver will be available for separate purchase! There will be 3 flight times each day: 5:45pm, 6:15pm, and 6:45pm. These flights can be booked on the Kenmore Air website. Either 5:45pm listing is good to book. Flights are listed as DHC-3 Otters on the Kenmore website for capacity purposes; they have confirmed to us that ALL OF these flights will be Radial-Engine Beavers. If you plan to book a scenic flight, please mark the checkbox when booking your tour on our registration system.

Each tour will be approximately 2 hours at the seaplane base, and the total will be around 4 hours with transportation. Tours & Flights are limited, so book early. Attendees younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Only small cameras and backpacks will be allowed; no luggage. Please be respectful of your tour guides regarding the subjects available to photograph. Water, soda, and snacks are available at the Kenmore Air terminal, as well as a Kenmore Air gift shop. This tour is not accessible.
Each Kenmore Air Lake Washington Tour is $45 for bus transportation and our courtesy fee to Kenmore Air. Radial Engine Beaver DHC-2 flights can be booked through the Kenmore Air website; make sure it's the Lake Washington option. The current price is $112, subject to change.
