Kansas City was year before last, and honestly was just ok, hotel was terrible. And Chicago and Dallas were previous years, so essentially the Midwest has represented well the last few years. Big coast cities typically draw as they are hubs for most airlines and population bases. Also need to look at what cities can offer. Not dishing on Denver as I lived in the area for 12 years, but aviation related subjects and logistics are lacking. I loved the area, just not an aviation Mecca compared to other areas.I feel like Midwest would be a bit better (easier for people from both coasts to get there)
Houston could work, I just think it’s kinda annoying for people in the west to fly all the way across the country, and vice versaKansas City was year before last, and honestly was just ok, hotel was terrible. Denver is nice but everything is far away. The nearest hotels aren’t even close to DEN and I’d imagine tours would be difficult to plan as well. I definitely prefer cities where everything (or the majority) that’s on offer is fairly close to the hotel.Kansas City was year before last, and honestly was just ok, hotel was terrible. My main gripe is getting TO the place itself. It takes one flight to get to places like Denver, but it’s a long trek to the east coast.Denver is nice but everything is far away. reeeeeeal pain for west coasters to get to the east coast and vice versaI think Atlanta was a really good spot, great location and very close to the airport!
i understand that it’s a pain for yall to get here but i don’t see why there shouldn’t be an Airliners International or any other convention out east, if that’s your only downside. I myself am not going to this convention because it’s far away. Don’t complain about something that isn’t even confirmed yet.reeeeeeal pain for west coasters to get to the east coast and vice versa
I'm not complaining because it's out east, I just think somewhere a little more central would be best so that both coasts could reasonably get there in one flight. This is more of a suggestion on where it should be for 2027. For me and many others, I have to fly multiple flights to get out east, rather than one flight if it was in the midwest. The same rings true for the west coast. Plus, Airliners 2025 was just out east, so the midwest should get their turn again.i understand that it’s a pain for yall to get here but i don’t see why there shouldn’t be an Airliners International or any other convention out east, if that’s your only downside. See you there!Me and the other guys from the Amsterdam Aviation Collectors Fair will be there, we're really looking forward to it!
It'll be my first show in the States as well, let's get that hype train going!
It will be posted soon. You are W20-27.Connor can you provide a map on the vendor info with what tables are available or taken. I have folks asking what's available by table numbers. Like AI typically does by shadowing the taken tables, or what vendors have what tables
Sheesh! This is gonna be fun!EVENT ALERT

Well, the main reason for Airliner International having different host locations each year is primarily to diversify their convention, catering to major parts of the United States. Likewise with many others, I assume you are also aware of this fact already. Yes, location suggestions are always welcomed for future years to come, but hosting in a specific location (regardless of the designated region) each year will never satisfy all due to everybody’s different proximities and their unique travel circumstances, hence it’s reasonable to host Airliners in regions where there are higher levels of tourist traffic. Don’t worry too much about Midwestern regions not getting their own spotlight; time will eventually come! It’s similar to how the Super Bowl here is hosted in different states and locations throughout America, so you’ll always have one group of travelers who will have an easier time getting there, while another group having a tad bit longer of a distance to get there. If only instant teleportation was a thing…we’d all be there in a jiffy!I'm not complaining because it's out east, I just think somewhere a little more central would be best so that both coasts could reasonably get there in one flight. There are non stops for most airlines. From Seattle you have Delta and Alaska going non stop to most places, as you’d find LA, SFO and Portland all easy cities you can fly nonstop to the east coast.reeeeeeal pain for west coasters to get to the east coast and vice versa
That makes sense, and I’ve spoken with Connor on this subject many times elsewhere. I’m based in Oregon, so this year’s convention is merely a few hours away by car, which is great.Well, the main reason for Airliner International having different host locations each year is primarily to diversify their convention, catering to major parts of the United States. The problem is the connecting flight for me, and for fellow people who have to fly out of regional airports. if I had access to a larger airport easier it would be better. There are non stops for most airlines. FSD defo needs NYC connection…I’m hoping for my airport, once the expansion opens, we gain an east coast nonstop. Closest we’ve gotten has been CLT for a couple brief stints.
