I wanted to create this thread so as to have a more centralised place to discuss all of GJ's future releases previews like we already have for NG's future releases. I thought this would be a good idea since when GJ's future releases are discussed, it is in individual threads for each model.

Note regarding GJIRA2305 : the text says 747SP but the CG imange clearly shows a 747-100, which matches what is indicated in MADb.

Actually, GJ already planned the Iran Air 747 before the war started and aside from licensing and paying their taxes, I don’t think GJ has anything to do with the US government. But the timing is interesting to say the least.

GJs Iran Air products can't be 'licensed' considering that US Sanctions forbid any kind of financial transaction with any agency from said country.

Standard NG will probably be $48.95 and Gemini will probably be $52.95

You’re more likely to get a better value for your money with the NG because the NG 738 is so much better than the JC/GJ 738 and I don’t think the updated JC 737NG mould will beat the NG one. At best , it will close the gap between the two moulds. So the only reason to buy the GJ I can see is if it gets released before the NG.

NG mold will be much better, plus you can reserve it on their website and get the extra points on top of the regular points you get with each model. It just makes it that much more worth it tbh.

Obviously, that depends on what the final product looks like but usually the NG will turn out better anyways for 737s
