Sorry for spoiling the party but it seems to me that planes are coming in much higher over Maho Beach when compared to 10 years ago. I guess safety concerns are playing a role in these boring high passes over the beach

Spirit Airlines is leaning into their "banana plane" livery by adding banana stickers on 6 of their jets. From the photos, the first one appears to be N621NK.

But at this point, Spirit should probably be more focused on surviving longer than the shelf life of actual bananas, methinks

Similarly, the next 5 -900s will be ZNB (834), ZNC (842), ZND (890), ZNE (905), and ZNF (912). Also KLM's 1st A350F (852) will be PH-MPK.

hahaha this is brilliant - saw their video ad campaign on this few days back - was funny and affirmative at the same time - like they're embracing the joke or endearment - whichever way one chooses to see it. Great strategy and hopefully they'll regain their 'spirit' soon - airline consolidation into just a handful of dominant players may not be the best thing for any market or scenario
