Airline News

Beautiful GlobalX A320 N291GX "full Sunrise Airways livery" spotted at Miami.
This is a GlobalX A320 painted in Sunrise Airways livery, because Sunrise stopped to use A320, B737 and ATR-72 focusing the fleet in Jetstream 31/41, E145 and E120.

This is a news! An entire fleet painted in the same, special livery, something not so common in civil aviation world.
Quote myself because i am really not able to find something similar. I can find Southwest with many B737-800s and B737-700s painted in different special liveries; the three ANA A380s "Flying Honu" liveries (different liveries) and B777-200/B777W "Star Wars" (even here different liveries); the Delta A350-900 and A330-900neo "LA28" and "Team USA" (different liveries); NOK and the beautiful special liveries in its B737-800s and Dash 8-400s (all different); airBaltic with an almost entire A220-300 fleet painted in special liveries (all different); Qantas with B737-800, Dash 8-400 and B787-9 painted in different special liveries; Pluna and its CRJ-900s "Purple", "Navy", "Blue", Assist Card" and "Tale", all different and not considered special liveries but variations of the same livery.
And last but not least, Emirates with the dozens A380s painted in (different) special liveries.
The only airline that painted two airplanes of its fleet with the same special livery should have been Eurofly and its A330-200 and A320 with "Football World Cup livery", more a giant sticker than a livery

Well, Lufthansa is making something magic...once again.

Leo, for you and for all spotters and enthusiasts loving civil aviation and airplanes, with this very sad view of some beautiful birds

This airframe was born like G-OOAR for Air 2000 (UK) in November 2000.
25 years of life for this poor airplane.
Close there is a Frontier A320.

One of only two (If I remember well) A320 CEO operated by Azul... sad to see it meeting the scrapman!

Loved the eurofly standard scheme on the A330! Hopefully it'll make it to NG's mould at some point.

NOOOOOO...yet another failed airline.
SmartLynx from Latvia, after 30 years of activity, ceased all operations.
Focused in different countries but based at Riga, this charter/ACMI airline had a fleet of 35 A320 and 17 A321.
Very very sad, especially for the about 400 employees.
