In 1978, Norwich Airport was an active airport operating flights, though it had moved to its current location in Horsham St. Faith in 1967, having previously been an RAF base known as RAF Horsham St. Faith. The airport has a long history, originally opening in 1933 before relocating to its present site, and it also served in a military capacity during World War II.
