Aeroclassics April 2025 Releases

American A300 is nice but with the Yu ModeLs version coming, I'll stick with that. The AC and TWA 727's look nice as well, I might get one of those most likely the AC if it turns out ok.

I'm a bit wary of the A300s after that Varig from last month. Lots of re-releases coming from AC recently - 5 of these have been made before.

Apparently the 727-200 mould is 'new' but looking at the photos it appears the main change is the no2 exhaust. Everything else looks the same. I'll probably get just the hollow titles TWA and Air Jamaica.

The Air Canada has an odd profile at the nose compared to the original? Plus black rims to the engines and a missing 402 on the nosegear doors that the original had:

Lovely set of releases... although the quality of these models will probably be very questionable. Transbrasil 767s are great, since the old JC Wings versions are hard to find. I already have the trio of Transbrasil 767s as custom models and won't be replacing them.

I'm wondering why all of the 727s from this release have black rims to the engines and way to dark exhaust on no. 1 & 3?
The new no.2 exhaust looks wrong to me as well - comparing to the real thing- and the nose looks like the beak of the Nok Air bird...very disappointing. :(

At first sight I thought about getting all 727s and the AA A300, but now I'm probably not buying any of them.

I'm going out on a limb here and hoping for at least decent QC. I have been pretty lucky so far with the AC A300's from this year. I did get the 'wavy wings' on a 727 from earlier in the year, so really crossing my fingers. I'm pickup the two Transbrasil's, the AA A300, and the Air Jamaica 727.
