Oh i understand why. That makes senseThe reason for me kinda wanting it is because it was the first major PAX 747-400 I remember vividly remember seeing in 2019 up close at DPS airport in Bali. Couldnt get over how massive the vertical stabiliser was View attachment 14376
IIRC JC made this last year, you might still be able to find one in stock.for me personally I would love to see the thai airways 747 in the star alliance scheme as I have seen this in 2019
All ready been done recently by JC Wings. I have one and it's a great model. It is still available in many stores, depending on your location.for me personally I would love to see the thai airways 747 in the star alliance scheme as I have seen this in 2019
Love that Lufthansa retro livery....wish they would've never changed from that scheme.Thought I'd make a list of all the pax 747-8s NG could/should make.

Yep, the chrome underbelly really made that retro livery pop, bummer it's not there on D-ABYT. Lufty's new livery looks too sterile, and I must say the one before that is quite boring as well.Love that Lufthansa retro livery....wish they would've never changed from that scheme.
Yes, the bare metal was awesome on it. Too bad D-ABYT doesn't have it.Yep, the chrome underbelly really made that retro livery pop, bummer it's not there on D-ABYT. Lufty's new livery looks too sterile, and I must say the one before that is quite boring as well.
I'd say that it was Boeing that gave LH the no-go on a chrome belly. Not sure how well bare metal would go on a modern fuselage.Yes, the bare metal was awesome on it. Too bad D-ABYT doesn't have it.
True, there's a lot of composite material in use on them now.I'd say that it was Boeing that gave LH the no-go on a Chrome belly. Not sure how well bare metal would go on a modern fuselage.

I think they can be considered classics soon. The 747-400 isn't (yet!) considered a 747 Classic but I get your spirit, great selection of Pokemon Jumbos
Back in the days when Japanese airlines had 747s everywhere... things change, time flies...
I think they can be considered classics soon.

Yeah.Much probably indeed!
But maybe the 747-400 isn't considered a 747 Classic because it is much more modern than the earlier models.
Glass cockpit, no need for a F/E, more modern engines, increased wingspan and winglets, more range, etc etc
Oh yeah, my bad Technically, the B747-400(D) is classified a "classic"I think they can be considered classics soon.
