I do prefer that my collection is all die-cast regardless if it’s in the same scale. To me continuity adds value to my collection and I don’t mean the financial kind of value.

Idk if you’ve had one of these in hand at all but I really like them. The subjects are generally great and for how small the company still is compared to the “big guys”, there’s a ton of room to grow here. It may not be diecast but they blend in borderline seamlessly imo. I’d really give one or two a try if you’re willing! even a one off like the B-2 that you just find maybe interesting.

To each their own... I believe 3D printing is an opportunity for really amazing and well-made models.
I own a few and they blend in perfectly with my other diecast models. The only thing is that they're much lighter, but I also don't mind!

At the MCO show I was given an opportunity to handle their AirTran 737-200 (Thank you Jorge!) and I was really impressed with the model. I had previously held reservations about the material but those opinions were quickly changed. They do an excellent job, and while it is not diecast, it is still great quality. In hindsight I should have purchased it while I had the chance!

I only have one of their crj-200s so I can only speak on that but it’s quite durable too. Obviously not as heavy and sturdy as metal counterparts but if you’re careful enough with all the crazy antennas and gears on diecast, the 3D stuff they’re doing won’t be too different. I have the USAir dash 8s in the mail so once they come in I can tell differently if need be. I assume since they’re a bit smaller with the props too they may be a tad more fragile. I assume the 732 is even sturdier than the crj200 generally if I were to guess

I have not had the chance to see these in person, but I am looking forward to the opportunity at AI2025. That NWA Airlink CRJ-200 and Air Canada Q400 for sure have my attention but I would like to see them in person before I purchase one as they seem to run at the same price point as diecast.

Correct I have not.

I know it’s not the same as holding in person but here’s some up close detailed shots of my Frontier CRJ200. The printing isn’t 100% like you can get on diecast in certain areas (example the tail section on this one) but I assume that the technology is holding it back and it will improve over the next few years, especially with as they do more trial and error with what’s possible. hardly any printing lines and unless your heavily scrutinizing it under a microscope, it truly blends in with the metal stuffs. It does “feel” like a small piece of plastic in your hand but it also doesn’t feel brittle by any means at all. Be try sturdy for what it is. The antennas are a touch thick looking but don’t bother me at all. Of course no rolling gear but they’re detailed for what you get.

The overall model is far better than the diecast version GJ produces which I have definitely been impressed by.
