Hello all, since the last time that I updated this thread NQX has had some major changes, and I thought why not go over everything today as there is only one week of 2025 left.
First of all, as you know, I extended the runway and added a second parallel taxiway on the western side of the field (Taxiway K). This new taxiway and all of the runway exits associated with it service the new international terminal

The new International Terminal isn't 100% complete yet, infact it's a far way off. Unfortunately I ran out of jetbridges for this terminal, so I hope to get my hands on some in the new year. I'm thinking of potentially getting some Clipper models jetbridges. And once I have some more of those, I will finish the ground markings and the terminal building too.

I also re-did the regional apron so that I could have as many domestic flights from the Domestic Terminal as possible.
The bays at the top (bays 19-22) are used by Alliance Airlines (20-22), and Skippers Aviation (19 from some time in January). Followed by Bay 23 (facing south), which is used by the likes of Airnorth, MinRes Air (Air Australia), Nexus Airlines, and FlyPelican. Bay 24 will from next week be used by Impulse Airlines. Bay 25 is used by Regional Express, and bays 26-28 are used by Skytrans which has the largest presence of regional carriers at NQX.

Following that, I re-did the domestic apron, upgrading it to a MARS configuration seen at airports like Adelaide and the Gold Coast. I also added another board (to the right of the photo) with an extra 2 bays. Bays 1-4 (Right to Left) are all common use, with Bays 5-9 being used by Ansett Australia and Bays 10-15 being used by Qantas, QantasLink and Australian Airlines.

The new extension to the Domestic Terminal. I still have to finish some of the markings, i.e. the service road and footpath markings.
